GHATEX Tourism & Trade Expo organises international tourism and trade expo events in Ghana, including the GHATEX Official Launch and the GHATEX Main Expo. Event dates, venues, programmes, and participation packages are published on our website and may be updated from time to time.

2. Use of the Website

  • You are authorised to register on behalf of any organisation you name
  • Submission of a registration does not guarantee acceptance unless expressly confirmed by GHATEX

GHATEX reserves the right to approve, decline, or cancel any registration at its discretion, including where information provided is inaccurate, incomplete, or incompatible with event requirements.

4. Fees, Packages, and Payments

Certain registrations, exhibition spaces, sponsorship packages, or event services may require payment of a fee. Applicable fees, inclusions, and deadlines will be displayed during the registration or checkout process.

By completing a payment, you confirm that:

  • You are authorised to use the selected payment method
  • You agree to pay the total amount shown, including any applicable taxes or charges
  • You understand that payment processing is handled by our authorised third-party payment service provider

Payments made through our website are subject to the payment provider's own terms and security procedures. GHATEX is not responsible for failures, delays, or errors caused by banks, mobile money networks, card issuers, or other third-party payment systems outside our reasonable control.

A registration or booking is confirmed only when payment is successfully received and GHATEX (or its authorised representative) sends written confirmation, unless otherwise stated at checkout.

5. Refunds, Cancellations, and Transfers

Refund and cancellation terms depend on the registration type, package selected, and timing of the request. Unless otherwise stated on the registration page or in your confirmation:

  • Approved refunds may be subject to administrative fees or deductions permitted by law
  • Refunds are normally processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period
  • Transfers of registration to another person or organisation may be permitted at GHATEX's discretion

If GHATEX postpones, reschedules, or cancels an event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will communicate available options, which may include transfer to a rescheduled date or a partial or full refund, as determined by GHATEX and applicable law.

Specific refund percentages, cancellation deadlines, and package-specific conditions will be published on the relevant registration page and in your confirmation email before payment is completed.

6. Event Participation

Participants at GHATEX events agree to:

  • Comply with event rules, venue regulations, and instructions from GHATEX staff and security
  • Behave professionally and respectfully toward other participants, staff, and the public
  • Use allocated exhibition or meeting spaces only as permitted
  • Obtain any necessary licences, permits, or insurance required for their participation

GHATEX may refuse entry or remove any participant who breaches event rules or whose conduct poses a risk to safety, reputation, or lawful operation of the event.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, logos, graphics, images, videos, and design elements, is owned by or licensed to GHATEX and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any website content without our prior written consent.
